FAQ
General questions
How much does Tayra cost for players?
Nothing. The app is free for players. The club pays for a plan, and for one team of up to 25 players Tayra is free for the club too.
How do players join a team?
In the dashboard the coach gets a team code, a QR code and a link. A player installs the app and enters the code, scans the QR code or opens the link. They join on their own; the coach doesn't type them in.
Does it work on Android?
Yes. The player app is available for iPhone and Android, and the coach dashboard works in any modern browser.
Does Tayra replace our WhatsApp group?
For organising, yes: the schedule, changes, answers, attendance and notifications live in Tayra, where they don't get buried. Tayra has no group chat, so the group can stay for jokes and post-match congratulations.
Where is the data stored? What about GDPR?
Data is stored on servers in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). A team's data is visible only to its coaches and members, and we never sell it. To see or delete your data, write to [email protected].
Do I need a credit card?
No. The free plan needs no card and has no time limit. When your club outgrows one team, pick a paid plan you can cancel any time.
Is Tayra only for football?
It was built for football clubs, but schedules, answers and attendance work for any team sport. You set up your own activity types.

Billing questions
How does payment work?
By card through Stripe, monthly in advance. Invoices and payment methods are in the billing portal in the dashboard.
Can I change or cancel my plan at any time?
Yes. A higher plan is active immediately. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the billing period.
Do prices include VAT?
No. Prices are shown without VAT, which is added on the invoice.
